most when the lamp was switched on at the end of Act 2. The scenes were well operated at correct timings; however, I would consider a longer fade where appropriate. I would also suggest on the next production, the creative team should sit in the auditorium and look at the whole picture as although the LED screens at the side of the stage were not being used in this production, there was a continuous, flashing green power LED throughout the performance that was distracting, especially in the scene changes. I would suggest turning the power off or covering any rogue lights that are not part of the show. The props were sourced and controlled by Jacqui Rowland and Chris Livesey who both had great attention to detail with real coffee and milk, the barometer and crockery on the walls, polaroid photographs, glassware, French translation books, correct Police note books and paper bags for food. All of which were incredibly accurate to the era of the play. There was just one exception and that was the Gordons gin. It was a modern bottle and not from the correct era. So much effort had gone into the set and props, but this one had slipped through the net and maybe should have been put into some sort of decanter, if noticed. I had waited to publish my review as the production was sold out
