finds the riches. Everyone suddenly had a lot of “bling” and Dishee Washee wore something reminiscent of Ali G - complete with yellow sunglasses. At the end of the show, when Abanazar had been caught and forced to work in Widow Twankey’s restaurant - they put him in a pinny - there was just something so funny about the imposing character, in black and gold - and a flowery apron! Credit to the costume team, Kath Portlock, Steph Narey, Amanda Kilhooley, and Sam Wightman. Choreography throughout was fun and suitably simple - catering to every member of the cast. The dancers added an elevated level to the choreography, and everyone knew their steps. The ensemble added to every scene they were in, full of enthusiasm and character. Overall, this was a fun and perfectly British pantomime. Credit to everyone involved – the company all seemed to enjoy really themselves and delivered each joke, gaff, and physical comedy moment with creativity and character. Well done to directors Amanda Rosenberg and Ashley Hamp who chose the right people for the roles, and an extra mention for Amanda’s choreography - everyone knew what they were doing, and all smiled throughout! Congratulations to B.F.P., the cast, the crew, and creatives - I can’t wait to see what you do next.
