This performance radiated joy, heart, and show-stopping energy, making for a thoroughly entertaining evening that left the audience on their feet. The seamless vision of John Wood as director was evident throughout the production. The pacing was spot-on, with every scene flowing naturally into the next, and the character interactions were authentic and heartfelt. John was able to capture the humour, drama, and unshakable sense of sisterhood that makes this musical such a beloved favourite. Musically, the show soared under the guidance of Paul Firth, whose work as Musical Director ensured every note and harmony was delivered with precision and passion. The live band provided a rich and dynamic accompaniment, supporting the cast as they belted out show stopping numbers, "Raise Your Voice" being my favourite.
