Act Reviews 2024 / 2025 Season

were equally dazzling and the Blow Queens head dress wouldn’t look out of place on Manchester’s Canal Street. The staging of this show, organised by Sam Oakes, Joe Bradbury and Charlie Enger, was super. The set designed led by Kelly Holder was attractive and enhanced with the lighting plot designed by Steven OliverGrant and operated by James Bradbury. The sound by Kelly Holder seemed more in balance in this production. Sometimes in this theatre there has a been a tendency for the music to overpower the vocals but on the whole the clever lyrics by Anthony Freeman could be heard. Kat Rawling and Martin Webber must be quite proud of the sound that the company made. The Front of House team under the direction of Daniel Cocker did a sterling job of selling programmes and raffle tickets. One patron mentioned how impressed they were with the security aspects on entering the theatre, so take a bow! This was a great way for adults to enjoy a piece of theatre geared towards their needs – take from that what you will and even the Mayor enjoyed the spectacle. I look forward to watching next year’s adult panto, Rumpel4Skin!!!!!
