Kiera’s storytelling style was engaging, making it easy for the audience to immerse themselves in this imaginative world. The golden ticket winners were a hilarious and lively bunch, each bringing their own unique flair to Dahl’s iconic characters. Lucille Turner as the spoiled Veruca Salt was delightfully bratty, delivering her lines with the perfect mix of arrogance and entitlement. Nell Swettenham brought a tech-savvy, modern twist to Mike TV, balancing comedy with an over-the-top bravado that made the character’s obsession with screens humorous and relatable. Aalyah Bray as Augustus Gloop, brought plenty of laughs with Augustus’s overindulgent antics, while Lexi O'Mara as Violet Beauregarde played the gumchewing, competitive girl with great energy and attitude, making Violet’s transformation especially entertaining. The production's design elements, including the set and costumes, captured the magical feel of Wonka’s world, with vibrant colours and imaginative set pieces that brought the factory to life. The use of lighting and original music by Abbey Bradbury, added to the enchantment, though some transitions were a bit abrupt. Nonetheless, the energy and commitment of the cast shone through, making each moment delightful.
